Bonita Bikes was started in the owner's garage as an electric-bike only service. Within weeks it became apparent a garage wasn't going to cut it, then within our first year we had to move (again) from our first shop to our current location in the Sunshine Plaza of Bonita Springs. Business is booming! We think it has to do something with how much we care about your bike.
Along the way, we hired some awesome bike mechanics to work on regular pedal bikes as well. We are a full-service shop and can handle it all.
The owner, Fritz, has multiple degrees from various institutions. He started in geology, earning a bachelor's from Indiana University, followed by a Master's in mechanical engineering with a specialization in robotics and mechatronics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. This is where he learned the skills and developed the passion for electronics, necessary to handle the wide variety of electric bikes on the market.

- Friendly service. We know bike shops can be daunting, and staffed by jerks in a lot of locations. We love it here,and love working on bikes, so are friendly to everyone that walks in! Check out our reviews here.
- Speed, price and honesty. We serve many commuters, so speed on everything is our priority. We also offer the lowest prices around, and will never add on work to your ticket without asking first!
- Electric bikes. We are currently the only shop that can fix an ebike-specific electrical problem in Florida, and are the only shop that will fix even a regular bike problem on an electric bike (flat tire, brakes, etc.)
